Synopsis
In the schoolyard, a girl watches her classmate, who has mocked her all year, with compassion and empathy. She knows that what is being done to her is wrong, but she can only feel the other girl’s constant need for attention and her pain. She wants to tell her that she is sorry she feels the need to behave that way, and show her that with love, respect and support, things can change for the better.

This story portrays bullying from the perspective of the bully and conveys values such as compassion for others’ pain, forgiveness and empathy in order to understand the roots of certain behaviours. The protagonist demonstrates resilience, self-acceptance, effective communication, sensitivity and courage when she confronts her bully from a position of self-control and assertiveness.
