Kathryn Escribano Hawken

Born and raised in the UK, Kathryn moved to Valladolid in 1988. She initially worked as a university English teacher; however, since 1999 she has been teaching early learners at the CEIP Narciso Alonso Cortés school. She does not use textbooks, preferring instead to write stories for the children to help them learn both English and values. She is also a teacher trainer and writer of resource material and has been nominated for the Educa Abanca teaching prize.
