Guillermo Esteve Asensio

He was born in Madrid in 1973. He began cooking with his grandmother, whom he never saw use a recipe or measure ingredients, yet she always achieved delicious results —except for that one time when she covered a cake with baking soda instead of powdered sugar. As he grew older, he began studying Telecommunications Engineering with the idea of building a lightsaber. Although he never learned how to make one, he enjoyed his studies and made great friends.Years later, he completed a master’s degree in Computer Science and currently works managing projects for the development of information systems. For this job, he must write instructions very similar to recipes, detailing how to build or modify them. He also teaches a Data Engineering course called “Business Intelligence Systems,” where his students learn “recipes” to implement them. What he loves most about teaching are the sincere questions from those eager to learn.He hopes that those who read this story will finish it full of curiosity and turn to their teachers and parents to solve their doubts and continue learning with enthusiasm.
