‘A different language is a different vision of life, the more visions you have, the more you can give back to the world’.
Born in a kaleidoscopic Slavic country, Ewa has been living abroad for a major of her life. Her international experiences began in the United Kingdom where she studied English in a Reid Kerr College and got certified in Play, Learning and Children's Development at West College Scotland. She had the opportunity to be surrounded by all kinds of accents, and not only did she develop a passion for different backgrounds and diversity but also took advantage of itas an empowering and versatile tool to inspire curiosity, especially in children.
Then, another chapter of her life began. She decided to leave her family, who live in Southampton, England, to get married to Spanish culture. She currently resides in Madrid, which she has called her home since 2015. Apart from being a happy mum, over here in Spain she has had the chance to work with children on different projects like bilingual public school examinations, English camp coordination and tutoring. On her blog she encourages families to introduce English or any foreign language into their homes and guides them on how to practise the language together in everyday situations. She demonstrates that easy steps can make huge changes with one simple rule: HAVE FUN.
In her childhood, she loved the world of words and books, escaping to the magic of each story that she has read or created. Then in a busy adult life, she realised how much she had missed this part of herself, believing that we should never lose our inner child. This is how she discovered writing, or better said, WRITHERAPY, as a sort of self-enquiry to restore her linguistic skills and to express herself through reconnecting with her roots.
